Our MissionThe Medical Genetics Network has been developed by staff of the Medical Genetics Center to help provide the best care to your patients . Through the net you get online access to most of our services, you may submit your case for discussion with other interested geneticists and you may browse the available investigations in the field of medical genetics at our laboratories or request other less common investigations. Profile of the centerThe scope of our services covers a large number of cases including cases with dysmorphic features, Mental retardation, short stature, infertility, couples with repeated fetal loss, premarital counseling, nutritional treatment of metabolic disorders etc. In addition to inherited disorders, we are especially interested in chromosomal abnormalities in malignancies as we have a long experience in the diagnosis of cytogenetic aberrations in leukemia and other malignancies. For rare genetic diseases, we provide computer assisted search for similar cases and we may arrange for further investigations at collaborating Labs, Genetics centers and Universities all over the world. This is done through personal and formal relations with scientists in those centers . We provide this service for no fees except those charged by the collaborator abroad (This usually is equal to on campus fees). If you have any inquiry, please, feel free to call Saturday through Wednesday from 9:11 AM and 6 to 10PM.
