Fluorescent In Situ Hybridization

FISH study has acquired a great interest in the last few years as the most direct method of  visualization of  loci with a specific DNA sequence.  The popularity of the technique is due to the fact that is more sensitive, less time consuming and avoids the need for experience with  high resolution chromosome analysis.
