    During the last two decades,  knowledge in the field of medical genetics has been expanding in a way that implies frequent use computers as search tools in all the steps of management of cases with genetic disorders.

Free registration and E-mail address (Alias) At the Medical Genetics Network

    You may get an E-mail address that reflects your subspecialty as a medical geneticist . Your E-mail address will be in the form of   your-name@ medical-genetics.net.   

    The medical genetics network will maintain an Electronic Card Database of all registered users, This will be available soon, to enhance the communication between members of the medical genetics community in Egypt and surrounding countries.

Free search of genetic disorders and Dysmorphology  Databases

    This service is essential for physicians who encounter cases with uncommon presentation or dysmorphology. Computer search will try to match the findings in those cases with those reported world wide.

    The medical genetics center has established that Medical Genetics Network. This web site allows online ordering of information about all the available investigations in the field of medical genetics locally as well as in other laboratories

    If your are in need for a "second opinion" regarding the diagnosis or management of your case, then the Medical Genetics discussion group give you a golden opportunity to have the opinion of interested geneticists.  It is possible to submit those cases for discussion with other medical geneticists who are registered at The Medical Genetics Network.  It is also possible to share ideas and opinions in various fields of genetics through this discussion group
