Research Studies

    Staff of the  Medical Genetics center may collaborate with other centers or university members to conduct research work. We  support clinical and research studies that are within the scope of  our services. The aim of this service is to increase the orientation of researchers to the importance of genetic studies and to promote long term studies that are referred to the Medical Genetics Center. 

Our research support include

bulletFree clinical consultation. 
bulletFree access to all other services at the Medical Genetics Center
bulletLaboratory services are provided "at cost" for all cases referred by research fellows
bullet50% off on all cases with the same disorder that are referred by other workers 

Current studies

The Medical Genetics Center is currently doing a  research study on the following disorders: 

bulletChildren with Congenital Heart disease.
bulletPrader Willi Syndrome
bulletChildhood Autism
